Mountcrest Delegation Commiserates With Prof. Crabbe’s Family

A delegation of students and staff of Mountcrest University College on Friday (14th September, 2018) visited the Home of the late Professor Justice VCRAC Crabbe at Pokuase near Accra, to commiserate with his family.

Led by the Founders of the University College, Mr. Kwaku Ansa-Asare and his wife Mrs. Helena Ansa-Asare, the delegation presented a bottle of Aromatic Schnapps, cartons of water and assorted soft drinks to the family in line with customary practice.

Eulogising Professor Crabbe, Mr. Ansa-Asare, who is also Rector of Mountcrest, recalled the early days of the founding of the College when he (Rector), the late Mr. B.J. da Rocha and Prof. Crabbe signed the College’s Letter of Incorporation and Prof. Crabbe went on to become the Foundation Rector.

He said there was a lot that the family and the University College could do to honour Prof. Crabbe, who was such an outstanding personality that he would always be remembered well in all the places he had worked.

The Book of Condolence which had been opened at the residence, was signed by Mr. Ansa-Asare, Prof. Amonoo-Kuofi, Deputy Rector for Student Affairs and Dean, School of Medicine and Allied Health Professions, Prof Charles Ilegbune, Acting Dean of the Law Faculty, Rev. Delali Akati, Acting Registrar and Mr. Mohammed Anyass Ibrahim, President of the Students Representative Council.
