On the 23rd of June, 2020, MountCrest alumnus and member of its Faculty of Laws, Captain Jamal Tonzua Esq. made us proud once again as he earned his Master of Laws (LLM) in Energy and Environmental Law from Georgetown University, USA with double academic honours: DISTINCTION and the DEAN’S LIST. Captain Tonzua also received a Certificate in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from Georgetown.
Captain Tonzua is an Assistant Director of Legal Services in the Ghana Armed Forces and a member of MountCrest University College’s Faculty of Laws. In addition to his LLB earned from MountCrest, he holds a BSc in French Studies, where he began his tertiary education after completing Presec, Legon. He is a UNEP-Georgetown Fellow (2020) and UN International Law Fellow (2019). He is also a Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. Jamal is a great ambassador for MountCrest.
